Raffaele Riva is a brilliant Graphic Designer from Milan, Italy. He studied at the prestigious IED in Milan. After graduating from the school of design, he founded his company Artex Design in 1998, where he has been managing and leading different design projects ever since.

Raffaele Riva has gained a well-established reputation in the design industry because of his unique ability to create distinctive, award-winning designs that truly meet the client’s brief. One of his most notable achievements was when he won the Creative Review Award in 2006 for his web design project for Philips. He was also the recipient of the Golden Award at the IF Communication Design Awards in 2007 and was highly commended at the Design Week Awards in 2008.
Raffaele Riva has gained experience working with several clients around Milan, such as ITI SpA, Cappellini S.p.A., and other companies. His work extends worldwide, including projects in Belgium, France, and Sweden.
Riva has participated in a number of many conferences and exhibitions, including the Type Directors Club New York City, ADC Young Guns on Selected Works at the Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia in Milan, and Stufa di San Lorenzo in Florence. He has also been invited to give lectures at various universities such as the Accademia delle Belle Arti di Firenze, Accademia delle Belle Arti di Brera, Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome and Istituto Europeo di Design Milano.
His work has been displayed in the Graphic Design Museum in Breda and the Triennale Design Museum in Milan. Raffaele Riva is a member of the prestigious ADCI and a nominee for the Young Guns Awards from ADC. His work has also been published in Communication Arts, Page One, and IMA.
