Doug Haynes is an active member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and serves on their Executive Committee for New York City and Mid-Atlantic regions. He is also a New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) member. He was elected to the NACD Board of Directors and elected President. Doug is also on the Board of Directors for The Council for Excellence in Government, an organization that works to improve government and public service performance worldwide.

Doug Haynes began his career as a senior executive at the investment bank of Goldman Sachs, where he worked for over 30 years. During this time, Doug headed up the firm’s Global Real Estate Group and served as a member of the firm’s Management Committee. He also served on the Board of Directors for several public companies, including The Prudential Insurance Company, The Hartford Financial Services Group, and The Shawmut National Corporation.
